iPhone nano appears!

A new case made for a device that looks similar to the iPhone has appeared on various sites. Does that mean that Apple is going to launch a smaller iPhone? An iPhone nano? Well would we like a smaller iPhone phone? Don’t we already appreciate the larger screen that lets you enjoy pictures and video?

The images might be fake but they might be real too. They have been published by iDealsChina and its report says the iPhone nano will be made for those people that won’t afford a regular iPhone and it will be sold at Wal-Mart locations. The new phones will be similar to the 4G iPod nano but there isn’t any 3G support with those.

It is said that the phone will be introduced next month at Macworld and the iPhone nano will go to production on December 20th at a rate of 60,000 to 80,000 per month.

Will all that prove to be accurate or is it yet just another rumored meant to get some attention before Christmas?

Meizu M8: killer of apple iphone?

Meizu_m8 While everyone is sitting around waiting for the acclaimed Apple iPhone to be released here in the Philippines, the Chinese company Meizu has come up with a phone that is strikingly similar in appearance to the iPhone - the Meizu M8 PMP/Phone. From the design of the phone, to the style of the user interface, the M8 just screams iPhone wannabe. I guess we shouldn’t be surprised though, this was bound to happen sooner or later. Chinese companies are known for ripping of US designs, and often times there is very little that the US company can do to prevent them from profiting off their designs.

Some of the major differences the Meizu M8 has from theiPhone is a white case instead of black one, it runs off WinCE 6.0 instead of the Mac platform the iPhone runs off of, and it has a camera (which the iPhone does not). The dimensions of the Meizu M8 are 57×105x11.5mm. It includes a beautiful 3.3-inch (720×480 pixels) display, Bluetooth, a 3-megapixel camera, TV-out, line in/out, and video recording capabilities of 30fps at 720×480 resolution. The phone supports GSM networks and has the Chinese TD-SCDMA 3G radio.

There’s been no word on pricing, but I am betting that it will be the iPhone prices by a long-shot. With the more common operating system and inclusion of a digital camera, the Meizu M8 may give the Apple iPhone a run for its money. Apple lawyers and executives can’t be too pleased right now.

The Diesel-powered Lancer due by 2010

Our man Mike, from our green sibling site, was on hand when Takashi Nishioka, Mitsubishi chairman, unveiled the 2008 Lancer. Just before disrobing the newest iteration of Mitsu’s compact sedan, he announced that Mitsubishi Heavy Industries was currently developing a four-cylinder diesel mill, which should find its way under the hood of the Lancer and the Outlander SUV by the end of the decade.

Diesel_lancer

Naturally, emissions regulations are the major hurdle for any U.S.-bound diesel, but thankfully MHI has plenty of experience engineering light- and heavy-duty oil burners.

The date of 2010 is right in line with both Honda and Nissan’s plans to introduce diesel-powered vehicles into the American market, so Mitsubishi should be in good company.

The Ballad Of

There are 8 billion people in this world
8 billion lives are changing
Never felt so alone

Would you consider me inspite of this?
I’m always the one who loses
Would you make me better?

How, how, how will we make this work?
Why do you have to be so far?
It’s all clear now I’m gonna keep you
Like flowing water into forever

That look is all I need to get by
Like living in some illusion
I never felt so alive

I know that there will be flaws around us
The silly wars that we’ll be fighting
Yes, I’ll be fighting

How, how, how will we make this work?
Why do you have to be so far?
It’s all clear now I’m gonna keep you
Like flowing water into forever

It’s all clear now I’m gonna keep you
Like flowing water into forever
Into forever now
I’ll be the one who holds you dear

There are 8 billion people in this world
8 billions lives are changing and you’re the one I need.

::Hale,(twilight2006)::

hey, it’s already 2007?

The countdown for new year was on the television. Everybody was excited…then there were fireworks display outside that I’v watched absolutely stone-cold sober. At any rate, everybody seemed to be having a big time fun than I was. I ran inside thinking of the horror that may occur while I was outside. The clock striked 12mn, I just shrugged when I saw that then I went straight to my room and made a dive to my bed… for no apparent reason, I suddenly asked myself what have I accomplised for the past few years that’s worth a damn?? I wonder if I should run wild or get serious or if it makes a difference either way. I dont know. I just dont. Im confused…that’s for sure…could still here those firecrackers playing in my head.

Despair

Will I be able to find happiness again? just like before.. That was the question that wormed it’s way into my brain at some point along the way or maybe it was there all the time. After a year and so, I wondered why I wasnt happier in a way i’d always been during those unforgetful months… I laughed more, saw more people, lived a full life, until it all came crashing down on me, burying me in a wreckage now. I felt like a moth that fly straight to the flame…..I took risk, took a huge leap… but still fall hard. Too hard to fake it, got in my sense that most of us, the second half of our lives is nothing more or less than an oppurtunity to undo the wrong that we did in the first half, or try to make up for it in some way… and silence is my escape, but I know silence is rarely my refuge, my thoughts still haunted me, nothin cant replace it…above all else it was irreplaceable.

Subaru announces RB320 STi in honor of fallen rally driver

Subaru_rb320_01

Subaru is paying tribute to the late Richard Burns, 2001’s World Rally Champion, by offering a special-edition Impreza in his honor. The RB320 STi’s name is derived from Richard’s initials and the power output of the car’s engine. All the Richard Burns editions receive the Prodrive Performance Pack, which in addition to delivering the 320 horses, includes an uprated suspension that puts the Subie 30mm closer to the ground. Enhancing the car’s dropped appearance are a lip spoiler and and exclusive wheels which, along with the rest of the bodywork, are coated in Obsidian black paint. Slick-looking mesh grille inserts contrast the Vader-like finish nicely, and RB320 badging announces the car’s limited nature to bystanders and other drivers.

The first of the RB320s will be auctioned off, with proceeds benefiting the Richard Burns Foundation.

“Gulf-wing” HUMMER GT by GeigerCars

Obscene, you have a new ride: the HUMMER GT. German tuning house GeigerCars.de GmbH has managed to take the most outlandish and vulgar vehicle on the market and make it even more so with a host of visual and performance enhancements that altogether manage to scream "look at me" louder than a sorority girl at Mardis Gras.

Geigercarshummergullwings11111

First the good stuff: GeigerCars has upgraded the 6.0L V8 with a supercharger, added a new ECU and piped in a new stainless steel exhaust system, bringing the magic numbers up to 556 horsepower and 564 lb-ft of torque.

GeigerCars also upgraded the suspension, dropping the ride height by 100 millimeters and adding new anti-roll bars. The most obvious addition, though, are the rims. Forget about dinner plates, this sick puppy rides on freakin’ flying saucers: giant chrome 30-inch rims, 10 inches wide at all four corners. The mammoth wheels are shod with 315/30R 30 Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires. The wheel and tire package alone costs €28,000, but GeigerCars also offers packages with 20, 22, 24, 26 and 28-inch rims. (Remember when 18 inches were considered big?) Bringing all that heft to a stop, GeigerCars have outfitted the HUMMER GT with a €10,000 brake system with 15-inch cross-drilled discs with 8-pot calipers up front.

Geigercarshummergullwings22222

Inside the cabin, GeigerCars outfitted the truck with faux carbon trim and a full multimedia sytem with sat-nav, DVD player and television receiver showing on twin LCDs. Finally, outside, the HUMMER GT was painted in the baby blue and orange livery of the classic Porsche 917 of McQueen LeMans fame, complete with Gulf logos above the rear fender. The party piece, though (as if the blingtastic sport-ute needed more), are the front doors that can be opened normally or upwards, scissor-style.

Geigercarshummergullwings03333

With all the do-dads and bolt-ons listed here, the HUMMER GT sells for a jaw-dropping €133,900, and will propel itself to sixty in 7.9 second flat. This HUMMER really is "like nothing else", and if all that flash won’t get you noticed, nothing will.

Changing

I didn’t know what it was that i really wanted and not knowing was making me crazy.

Most of my friends find me hysterically happy….

im not happy but things are doing good.

I want time to get away and think about my life which as far as i could tell, was a mess.

Iv flunked some subjects, made terrible childish decisions and acted selfishly & foolishly.

I know i cannot change whats been and gone.

I don’t posses the powers to turn back time inorder for me to correct the wrong deeds. (but it would be cool if i have)

i guess its not too late for me to change…sure its hard to transform from being a mess to a well rounded person, but hey people still do change.

So now im filling up the void….im moving forward…im making my own meaning. I am changing.

Spy Shots: 2008 Nissan Skyline GT-R!

Lo and behold, spy shots of the upcoming and highly anticipated 2008 Nissan Skyline! Here they are courtesy of KGP Photography and the pocketbook of Winding Road. I’ve been waiting anxiously for more news on the Skyline ever since I saw the GTR-Proto concept that was debuted back in 2005 at the Tokyo Motor Show.

   2009 Nissan Skyline GT-R - Front

These shots afford us a look at a Skyline that appears to be very close to production spec with minimal shrouding over the front clip and rear.

2009 Nissan Skyline GT-R

Despite the coverings, we see a two-door coupe that doesn’t stray far from the GTR-Proto in appearance and, quite frankly, looks drop-dead sexy. Look at how the roofline just falls from the top of the A-pillar into a sharply kinked C-pillar. Lovely.

2009 Nissan Skyline GT-R - Rear

Unlike previous iterations of the Skyline, this coupe is not based on a sedan, but rather is bestowed its own two-door architecture that will likely pay dividends in the car’s performance. We don’t have much word on the Skyline’s mechanicals, but Winding Road’s Chris Paukert surmises a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 derived from the 350Z’s powerplant putting out somewhere in teh range of 450 horsepower and 370 ft-lbs. of torque. All-wheel drive from the previous GT-R’s electronic ATTESA ET-S torque-sensing system is onboard and four-wheel steering is also a possibility.

2009 Nissan Skyline GT-R - Rear

but I myself am gushing over the design. Subjective standards of beauty aside, the shape of the new Skyline seems to epitomize the essence of Japanese design in the same way the Chrysler 300C represents Americana in its slab-sided sheetmetal. The Skyline looks high-tech, sharp and sterile, like a laser-guided scalpel.
